A newer phone every two years. Nothing to pay upfront.

One fixed monthly fee, nothing upfront, and insurance included for the full term. Revio owns the device while you subscribe. At month 24 you can hand it back at no fee, renew onto a new device at no fee, or buy out the one you have. Subscription access is subject to approval.

The cycle

It's a loop, not a countdown.

Most phone plans end with you owning an ageing handset. This one comes back around: every 24 months you decide again — hand the device back, renew onto a new one, or buy the one you have.

  1. 01

Step onto a device that suits you

No deposit, no down payment. Choose a device from the catalogue at the monthly fee that fits. Your price is fixed when you subscribe.

  2. 02

    Use it, fully covered

Insurance is included for the whole term and arranged by Revio, so there is no separate policy to buy. One claim per subscription, at QAR 99.

  3. 03

    Change device after month 6

Once the 6-month lock-in ends you can change device for a one-time QAR 299. Billing continues on the new device. An upgrade is capped at 10% above your current device's price.

  4. 04

At month 24, three ways to finish

Return the device at no fee, renew onto a new device at no fee, or buy out the one you have. Two of the three cost nothing, and the loop starts again.

How it works

What happens, and when.

From signing to owning. Every point below is taken from your contract.

  1. Before you begin

    Get approved, then sign in

Subscribing is invitation-only, so your email address has to be approved first. You enter your email, confirm the 6-digit code we send you, and add your name, mobile and delivery address. If your address isn't approved yet you join a queue and we notify you — it isn't a rejection.

One email address is both sign-up and sign-in. There is no separate login.

  2. Identity check

    Verify your identity

Every subscriber is identity-verified before taking a device — it is a legal requirement for leasing hardware in Qatar. A provider captures your ID document and a face scan. Starting on a laptop, the check moves you across to your phone, because document capture on a webcam is poor.

Some checks are referred to a person and can take a few hours. Waiting is normal, not a refusal.

  3. Choose & sign

    Choose your device and sign

Pick your model, colour and capacity, then read and sign the 24-month agreement on screen. A signed PDF is produced and kept, and you can download it any time. You pay nothing upfront and Revio owns the device throughout the term.

This is a subscription, not an instalment plan.

  4. First payment

    Pay month one

Your first month is charged and your card is saved for the 23 that follow. Payment happens on the provider's own page, not on Revio, so you leave the site and come back. Your monthly price is copied onto the subscription at this moment.

A later catalogue price change never affects an existing subscription.

  5. Within 5 days

    Your device is delivered

Delivery lands within five days of your subscription activating. You can follow it the whole way — preparing, shipped, out for delivery, delivered — with courier and tracking number once it is dispatched.

A confirmation email goes out the moment your subscription activates.

  6. Months 1–6

    The lock-in period

The first 6 months are your minimum commitment. Leaving during this period means paying QAR 599 plus the monthly fee for whichever of those 6 months you have not yet paid, charged immediately.

The exact amount is calculated for your subscription and shown before you confirm.

  7. After month 6

Change device if you want to

From month 7 you can change device for a one-time QAR 299. Billing continues on the new device at its own monthly rate. If you are moving up, the new device can be up to 10% above your current device's price.

Availability depends on stock at the time you ask.

At the end of your term

Three ways to finish. Most people upgrade.

At month 24 the choice is yours, and you can take it whenever you are ready. Two of the three cost nothing at all.

UpgradeNo fee

Move to a newer model

Return your current device and take a newer one. No device change fee applies at the end of a completed term — this is the free route to your next device.

What most people do
RenewNo fee

Renew onto a new device

Start a fresh 24-month term on a different device at no fee. Your new monthly rate is whatever that device costs at the time.

ReturnNo fee

Hand it back

Hand the device back at the end of your term. Your subscription closes and there is nothing further to pay.

Or buy the device outright

You can keep the device by paying its RRP minus everything you have paid so far, plus QAR 599. The exact figure for your subscription is calculated and shown to you before you confirm.

Compare staying and buying
Stay or buy

Buying is always an option. Here's how it's worked out.

Move the slider to any month to see how a buy-out is worked out: the device's RRP, minus everything you have paid, plus QAR 599. The devices below come from the live catalogue — your own figures are always calculated and shown before you confirm anything.

Fees

Four fees. Each one shown before it's charged.

Beyond your monthly payment, these are the amounts that can apply — each only in the situation described. There is no deposit and no upfront cost, and returning or renewing at the end of your term costs nothing.

QAR 599

Part of a buy-out

Added to the device's RRP minus everything you have paid, if you choose to keep the device. Not charged if you return or renew.

QAR 299

Change device

One-time, available after the 6-month lock-in. An upgrade is capped at 10% above your current device's price. Not charged when you renew at month 24.

QAR 599

Cancel and return early

Charged immediately if you end the subscription before month 24, plus your monthly fee for any unpaid months of the 6-month lock-in. Not charged if you buy the device instead.

QAR 99

Insurance claim

One claim per subscription. Raised through Revio, who arrange the cover.

Insurance

Insurance, included for the whole term.

Cover is part of your subscription at no extra monthly cost. Revio arranges and manages it, so there is no separate policy to buy and nothing to renew.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

What is Revio Upgrade?

Revio Upgrade is a 24-month device subscription. One monthly price, no upfront cost, insurance included, and Revio owns the device for the length of the term. At month 24 you can return it at no fee, renew onto a new device at no fee, or buy it out. Sign-up is invitation-only, so subscription access is subject to approval.

Is this a subscription or an instalment plan?

A subscription. With an instalment plan you’re paying off a device you’ll own at the end, like a loan. With a subscription you’re paying for ongoing use of a device Revio owns, with insurance and service included. That’s what keeps the monthly fee lower and lets you change device or hand it back. Buying is an option you can take, not something you’re locked into.

How do I join Revio Upgrade?

Enter your email to begin, confirm the 6-digit code we send you, add your details, and complete an identity check. Once you’re verified you can choose a device, sign the agreement and make your first payment. Sign-up is invitation-only — if your address isn’t approved yet, you’ll be placed in a queue and notified when access opens.

What do I need to apply?

An approved email address, a valid Qatar ID for the identity check, and an accepted payment card. Identity verification is a legal requirement for leasing a device in Qatar and cannot be skipped.

Which devices can I get with Revio Upgrade?

Phones, laptops, tablets and watches. Check the catalogue for what’s in stock now — availability is per colour and capacity.

Is there a deposit or upfront payment?

No deposit and no down payment. Your first month is charged when you complete the subscription, and your card is saved for the 23 that follow. Your monthly price is fixed at that moment, so a later catalogue price change never affects it.

Do I need a telecom subscription?

No. Revio Upgrade is a direct arrangement between you and Revio, with no telecom bundle needed. You’ll need a valid bank account linked for monthly billing.

What is the 6-month lock-in?

The minimum commitment at the start of your subscription. If you leave during the first six months you still owe the monthly fee for the unpaid months of that period. After month 6, changing device becomes available.

When can I change or upgrade my device?

After the first 6 months you can change device for a one-time QAR 299 fee, and billing continues on the new device. If you’re upgrading, the new device can be up to 10% above your current device’s price. At month 24 you can renew onto a new device at no fee.

What are my options at month 24?

Three: return the device at no fee, renew onto a new device at no fee, or buy out the device you have. Returning and renewing both cost nothing.

Do my monthly payments count toward buying the phone?

Yes. A buy-out is the device’s RRP minus everything you have paid so far, plus QAR 599 — so every monthly payment reduces what a buy-out would cost you. Your exact figure is calculated and shown to you before you confirm.

Where does the QAR 599 come from?

QAR 599 appears in two places: it is part of a buy-out, and it is the fee for cancelling and returning before month 24. If you return the device or renew at month 24, you don’t pay it at all.

Which fees exist?

QAR 599 as part of a buy-out; QAR 599 plus the monthly fee for any unpaid lock-in months if you cancel and return early; QAR 299 to change device after month 6; and QAR 99 for an insurance claim, once per subscription. Returning or renewing at month 24 costs nothing. Every fee is calculated for your specific subscription and shown to you before you confirm the action.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancelling and returning before month 24 costs QAR 599 plus your monthly fee for any unpaid months of the 6-month lock-in, charged immediately. The amount for your subscription is shown before you confirm.

Can I cancel before 24 months?

Yes. Return the device and pay QAR 599 plus the monthly fee for any unpaid months of your 6-month lock-in. If you’d rather keep the device, buy it out instead — the QAR 599 is already part of that amount, so you are never charged both.

What happens if a payment fails?

We retry it, and your subscription shows as retrying — recoverable, not urgent. If it stays unpaid for 5 days the subscription is suspended and you’ll need to act; there is a Pay now action that charges your saved card immediately, and you can also replace the card from your account. A suspended subscription can be recovered within 15 days.
